
SPRE4 will have a 2-hour delay to start school on Wednesday, 01/08. School starts at 10:00am , there will be cereal available for breakfast K-12 starting at 9:30am. No morning preschool.

Reminder: The 2023 - 2024 Springfield Yearbooks last day to order is tomorrow, December 12, 2024! It was a long process getting it ready and we are excited to get it published and pass the torch on to a new yearbook class! This book is 100 pages of full-color print. The first 27 pages cover Springfield Elementary while the rest is 6th grade and up! The yearbook will be available after the due date, but the transaction will be handled through Entourage Yearbooks at a higher price. We will order a few extra copies but they may sell quickly! The Boise City Junior High "Wildcat Holiday Hoops Festival" will be held on December 14h. Admission: Adults-$4.00, Students - $2.00. All games will have a 6-minute running clock with a 2-minute stoppage. The schedule is a rolling schedule with a 6-minute warm-up between each game. If games get ahead of schedule, they will stay ahead of schedule.

The high school cheer squad placed 3rd in their division at the Wildcat Cheer Competition in Holly. They head to the State Spirit Competition on December 12th. Good Luck Longhorns!


Congratulations to Cobi Mackey for Winning District 6 Creed Speaking. She will be representing the District at State FFA Convention in June. Jersey Speck also received a Bronze for Creed Speaking. Great Job!

PSA: Today (12/06/24), Baca County Emergency Management is hosting a multi-agency live training exercise at Springfield School District. The public may hear loud noises, emergency lights and sirens, and see a large police, fire, EMS, and flight for life presence. The exercise will conclude no later than 12pm today. Please do not be alarmed, but do stay clear of the area. Remember to only call 911 for true emergencies.
