Springfield was well represented at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America conference in Denver over the weekend.
FCCLA provides members with the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life. Including planning, goal setting, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills essential in both the home and the workplace. Chapter members competed in Star Events as teams or individually. All projects receive a bronze, silver, or gold and the top 2 events scoring over 80 points are invited to compete at nationals this summer in Orlando, Florida.

It's a great week here at Springfield School District, where we are celebrating our Administrative Assistants! Amelia, Brooke, and Pam do many amazing things in our schools, so we celebrate them all week! Administrative Professionals Day is Wednesday, 04/23/2025.




School Record: Parker Arbuthnot lowered his 3200 time yet again at the high school track meet in La Junta. He cut 26.04 seconds, running the 3200 in 10:03.57. Congratulations Parker!

SUPPORT Little Ceasars Pizza Order Forms are being sent home this week with elementary students. Order forms are due Monday, April 28th with delivery tentatively scheduled for the week of May 12th. Stock those freezers for the summer!
For the Easter Extravaganza TOMORROW (Wed the 16th), bags provided for the easter egg hunt. There will also will be water coolers at each station.
To foster school spirit during the event, we kindly request that Springfield students wear their RED shirt that SUPPORT gifted each student at Christmas.
State Bound: Congratulations to the Springfield FFA Quiz Bowl teams who faced off against each other in the District Championship. The winning team will be representing the District at the State FFA Convention in June. The championship team includes Rhett Bray, Chaz Holcomb, Kaidan Netherton and Holly Hancock. Congratulations!

It's PROM WEEKEND @ Springfield High School ☺️ Students, please use the north bus lane door by the concession stand or the southwest door from the Cedar St. parking lot to enter the dinner & dance. All are welcome for the grand march beginning at 8:30pm. It's a great day to be a Longhorn!

The boys team placed 3rd overall and the girls team placed 4th! A wonderful day to be a Longhorn!
