The junior high volleyball league tournament will be held on October 12th at Springfield. The first match will begin at 9:00 a.m. with subsequent matches immediately following the completion of the preceding match. All matches will use rally scoring. A full concession stand will be available throughout the tournament. Admission Prices: Adults - $4.00, Students - $2.00, Sr. Citizens - $2.00. Good Luck Horns!

It doesn't happen often but when it does it is an amazing thing; all seven runners broke their personal records today at the cross country meet in Syracuse! After a hard week of practice, the cross country team ran great on the grassy knolls of the Syracuse course. Parker Arbuthnot broke the school record for the 2nd time this year placing 5th and cutting 47 second off his time from last year. Draven Ferch also cut over a minute off his time from last year. Next week the junior high closes out their season at Lamar while the high school heads to the Kadet Invitational at the Air Force Academy. It was a great day to be a Longhorn!

What a fun meet! The cross country team ran at Canon City on Thursday. The course consisted of a 1.5 mile uphill, then a screaming downhill and finally the finish across the Royal Gorge Bridge! This is the first time the team has attended this meet and it seems to already be a favorite.

Today was a GREAT DAY TO BE A LONGHORN! Kindergarten through 12th grade students enjoyed lunch in the courtyard followed by sidewalk chalk and playground time. Kids big and small had a wonderful time playing together during this homecoming week activity. Longhorns are out of this world!
