At tonight's basketball game, the officials will be "passing the bucket for change". You will notice that the officials will be wearing either pink or white whistles. This is part of a two week-long, nationwide effort-"Officials versus Cancer" Campaign designed to raise the awareness of cancer. If you haven't been touched by cancer, chances are you will be someday, either personally or through a loved one, friend, or a colleague who may catch this deadly disease. On behalf of those affected by this, the American Cancer Society, Officials vs. Cancer, the Colorado high school basketball official's association, Colorado Board #4, and all officials from around the country we would like to thank everyone for joining in this fight against cancer!
