Springfield Schools will release all students K-12 on Thursday, 05/18 @ 2:00 PM. Bus routes will run at 2:00 PM. We hope all families stay safe, enjoy time together, create kindness, and find curiosity during our time away from school. It's a great day to be a Longhorn!


It's Police Week in Springfield! SHS honored officers with a signed card of thanks & donuts, while SES students started a new tradition with Hallway High 5's! THANK YOU Clay, Derek, & Kyle for all your work in the community ☺️

Today is the day to celebrate the class of 2023! Graduation begins at 10:30 a.m. in the SHS gymnasium. Please use the west doors to the gym if you plan to attend. Handicapped parking is in the southwest parking lot, as well as regular parking. Overflow parking is PARALLEL parking on 5th Avenue.


Trucks lined up to take the metal from the cafeteria, maintenance shop, and weight room! Recycling and proper disposal of materials has been an integral part of the planning throughout the project.


33 students in 3rd & 4th grade who met their AR goals throughout the school year went to Wonderland Park today!










5th grade students who made their AR goals throughout the school year went to the Rockies game. So much FUN!




5th grade had their field trip on Wednesday.
They went to the Panhandle Plains Museum and the WTAMU Activity Center.








The 2nd Grade field trip to Turk's Pond has been cancelled due to weather and road conditions. Students will remain on campus in classrooms.

Springfield Jr/Sr High School experienced a fire alarm at approximately 1:22pm on May 10. The building was evacuated following code. SFD responded to discover no danger and cleared the environment by 1:30pm. A smoke detector is believed to have been set off in the FACS lab due to cooking labs.

Mr. Gale's 8th grade reading class read & watched videos about the history of tacos. Taco Wednesday!
