Ten of the SHS and SJH cheerleaders attended the NCA camp that was held in Granada July 14-16. Over the course of those thre days, five of them were nominated to try out for All American: Bryann Forrest, Brody Rosengrants, Rayne Thomas, Dakota Reid, and Braelyn Rosengrants. Brody, Rayne, and Braelyn participated in tryouts on Saturday. We are excited to share that Brody was named All American Cheerleader, and we are very proud of her receiving this high honor! Congrats to Brody and all of the participating cheerleaders!

Congratulations to Lainee Leathers for being selected by the staff of Springfield High School to be our representative at the Hoby Leadership Seminar in Denver starting today! Hoby Colorado began in 1978 and has held a conference every year. The HOBY Colorado Leadership Seminar's goal is to provide sophomores from Colorado high schools with the opportunity to improve their leadership skills through education, understanding and individual responsibility. Springfield School's would like to congratulate alum Cahil Roberson on his graduation from Basic Military Training. Cahil enlisted with the United States Air Force in December of 2021. He graduated Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base on May 12, 2022. After graduation, he went to Sheppard Air Force Base to start his Tactical Aircraft Maintenance training and will graduate on August 25, 2022. Cahil has been assigned to report to Moody Air Force Base upon completion of his training. Airman Roberson is the son of Joel and Kyndee Roberson of Springfield and is a 2021 graduate of Springfield High School.
Springfield FCCLA invites the community to join us on Monday, June 20th for a great barbecue dinner and pie auction fundraiser to help send our five qualifiers to nationals (Alayah M, Jaden C, Cooper S, Colin S, and Gunnar M)! We will start serving dinner at the Home Ec Cottage from 5pm to 8pm or when the food runs out! :)
