Springfield Preschool 1st Pre-K Citizens of the Month—Congratulations to Kace Kuykendall & Anastasia McCallum! These children were recognized for being responsible, respectful, good citizens on the Blue Team & Yellow Team!

The first game will begin at 9:00 a.m. All other games will begin at the conclusion of the following game. Games will consist of (2) 20-minute halves and a 5-minute half-time. All games will be running time.
Admission will be $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for Students and Senior Citizens.
There will be a concession stand with a variety of items offered. However, food and drink is not allowed in the gym.

Creative Writing can take many forms. Joy West, Brody Rosegrants, and Rayne Thomas have used their creative writing class to develop a podcast, incorporating writing skills by constructing meaningful interview questions. Congratulations to senior, Ella Swanson. She is being inducted into Phi Theta Kappa at Lamar Community College. We are proud that Ella is a Longhorn!
Phi Theta Kappa is an international scholastic honor society to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. The Beta Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa promotes academic excellence at LCC and is active on campus. To be eligible, students must have a 3.5 grade-point average after completing 12 or more credit hours of college-level work, be currently enrolled, and pursuing an AA, AS, AAS, or AGS degree.
Results from State Cross Country: Junior, Mylo Lovejoy finished his season with a wonderful showing at the 2A State Meet. Mylo finished 39th/136 running the course in 18:04 (cutting 1:10.5 seconds from his last years' time of 19:14.5). Way to go Mylo!
