The Springfield Band will have these awesome beverage containers for sale at the football game tomorrow. They are $12 each and can be purchased in the stands during the game. If you can't make the game, you can stop by the high school office during the week to purchase one.
Bicycle safety presentation 10/28/21
The Health Nurse, Sheriff Aaron Shiplett, Chief of Police Katrina Martin & Deputy Martin gave Springfield Elementary students a bicycle safety presentation this afternoon. Student names were drawn for a helmet. Thank you all for visiting our school & keeping us safe.
The cafeteria would like everyone to know that they are doing all they can to continue to get the products they need in order to serve the menus they schedule each month. Please be aware however, that at times this is not possible. They will do everything possible to alert us when menus must be changed due to product availability. Thank you for your understanding.

Wednesday, October 20th was the first Family Reading Night of the year. Ms Starla & Ms. McGrew along with their 2nd grade students hosted Pete the Cat Night! Thank you to all who joined us!
State Bound! Congratulations to sophomore Mylo Lovejoy for placing 15th and qualifying for State Cross Country! He broke his own school record, running the course in 17:57.3 He will be running at the Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs on Saturday, October 30th at 9:40 a.m.
Ella Swanson finished the race in 26:07.6 (35/56) and Mary Michael finished the race in 26:43 (39/56).
Good Luck to the Longhorn Cross Country team today as they compete at the regional meet in Rocky Ford.
