SPRE 4 STANDARD RESPONSE PROTOCOLS
The standard response protocol, or SRP, is a document created with Springfield and Baca County community emergency and response agencies to prepare for responses to crises that may occur at schools. The SRP is a document adopted from the I Love You Guys Foundation and is a high-level response system used in many schools.
SAFETY WEEK is October 14-18 at Springfield Schools. All levels PK-12 will practice protocols during this week to learn about the SRP. Drills will occur daily with staff and students as we do our best to share the protocols and safety. Press Release is here for your information, 10/07/2024: https://5il.co/2yea8
Here is some valuable information for parents:
The parent guide to response. - This document walks parents and families through the protocols and helps the family know more about what to do and what the schools are doing.
The student guide to response - This document is the foundation of instruction for students in the building. It helps people understand what is happening inside the building and why protocols might occur.
